Learning Outcomes

Set up and configure TDAbleton to transfer data from Ableton to TouchDesigner
Extract, structure, and manipulate musical data to drive realtime visual changes
Design a generative audiovisual system where sound shapes visual composition

Participants should have a basic understanding of TouchDesigner, as fundamental concepts will not be covered. To ensure consistency, the workshop will use Ableton 12 and TouchDesigner version 2023.12370. Participants must have both programs installed prior to the workshop. Participants should also bring a 3-button mouse to the workshop, as we will need this for working in TouchDesigner.
